Celebrate Independence Day with the Flying Tigers where players will be wearing special patriotic red, white and blue jerseys and live music and dueling fireworks will follow the game.


Bartow 4th of July Celebration

Mosaic Park & Bartow Civic Center,  Bartow
Stop by the Bartow Civic Center and Mosiac Park, located next to the Civic Center, on the fourth for live entertainment and fireworks along with a carnival, children’s activities and food throughout the day.


Celebrate Fourth of July

The City of Lake Alfred invites the public to celebrate the fourth of July with a Little Miss & Mr. Lake Alfred Pageant, entertainment, Bass fishing tournament, car show, food vendors and more

- Lake Wales Arts Council invites children with bikes, trikes, scooters, wagons, strollers, and parents and grandparents to participate in the Fourth of July Bike Parade. 


Thunder on the Ridge

Venue: Lake Eva Park, Haines City
- Enjoy the largest fireworks display in Polk County where there will also be plenty of arts, crafts, food vendors and children’s activities on site along with a performance by recording artist Michael Ray.

Venue: LEGOLAND Florida,  Winter Haven
- Celebrate the fourth of July with a bang at LEGOLAND Florida’s Independence Day event featuring special 3D glasses that turn ordinary fireworks into millions of exploding bricks. 


Cemetery Tour
Date:
 Saturday, July 5
Venue: Polk County History Center, Bartow
- Join the Polk County History Center on a walking tour of the Historic Oak Hill Cemetery in Bartow where many pioneer families are laid to rest including Civil War veterans Jacob Summerlin and General Evander M. Law.
- The Historic Oak Hill Cemetery tour occurs the first Saturday of every month.
