Scooby Doo LIVE Musical Mysteries!

Venue: The Lakeland Center
- Help Scooby and the Mystery Machine Gang solve the mystery of the Youkey Theatre ghost at this fun performance at The Lakeland Series.


First Friday
Date: Friday, June 6
Venue: Downtown Lakeland
- On the first Friday monthly, people converge in Downtown Lakeland for an evening of free family-friendly entertainment, activities, live music, art receptions, a car show, and the opportunity to check out a locally-owned establishment.


First Friday Nature Walks

Venue: Bok Tower Gardens, Lake Wales
- Join the Gardens’ staff experts for birding, conservation, garden, trail and wildlife walks.
- During each, you’ll learn about the seasonal blooms in the garden, new conservation projects, migrating and nesting birds and animals, and natural Florida habitats.


Rachel Brame Exhibit Reception
Date: Friday, June 6
Venue: The Loft Art Gallery, Lakeland
- Brame’s artwork makes its debut during downtown Lakeland’s First Friday festivities with a free reception that will include live music, wine and hors d’oeuvres.


Weekend with James Rogers
Date: Friday, June 6 – Sunday, June 8
Venue: Westgate River Ranch
- Westgate River Ranch in Lake Wales will host a weekend with James Rogers, offering guests a chance to enjoy nostalgic folk tunes while also enjoying the natural beauty of Old Florida’s cowboy country.


Cemetery Tour

Saturday, June 7
Venue: Polk County History Center, Bartow
- Join the Polk County History Center on a walking tour of the Historic Oak Hill Cemetery in Bartow where many pioneer families are laid to rest including Civil War veterans Jacob Summerlin and General Evander M. Law.


Family Fun Workshop at Polk Museum of Art

- Family Fun Workshops provide a safe, fun environment for families to participate together in hands-on activities led by an art educator.
