Fireworks, Armed Forces Day & $1 Days Highlight Flying Tigers Eight-Game Homestand


The Lakeland Flying Tigers return home for an eight-game homestand against the St. Lucie Mets May 16-19 and the Charlotte Stone Crabs (Rays) May 20-23.  Tickets for all home games are available by calling the Flying Tigers at (863) 686-8075 or visiting LakelandFlyingTigers.com.  Box seats are $6 and reserved seats are $5. Seniors 55 and over children 14 and under and active military personnel receive a $1.00 discount.  Day of game tickets are an additional $1 (excluding Monday’s).  Monday tickets are $1. Wednesday All-You-Can-Eat tickets are $10 (in advance). Saturday tickets are an additional $1. Parking is FREE.

Bright House Networks will be inviting and recognizing customers as part of their annual night at Marchant Stadium.  There will be special prize giveaways throughout the game.


Mental Health Night
5th Annual Mental Health Matters Night will feature area organizations who will be on hand to educate and assist fans with better understanding all areas of our mental health. On hand organizations will be AFSP, Mental Health First Aid, Florida Council on Compulsive Gambling, Polk County School Board, Veterans Administration, Club Success, Peace River Center and NAMI Polk County.


Lawton Chiles Spirit Night
Show your school spirit with Lawton Chiles Middle Academy for their Annual Spirit Night. Students, faculty, teachers and family will be on hand for a fun night of baseball. Lawton Chiles students will participate with in game promotions, performing the National Anthem, and they will also be holding a silent auction to assist in raising fund for the school.

Armed Forces Day
The Flying Tigers will be honoring current and retired members of the military for their service to the country. Veterans and current military personnel will also receive FREE admission.  There will be a special JROTC Pass and Review celebration on the field prior to the game and a special swearing in ceremony for new recruits.


Tiger Trot 5K
The Flying Tigers annual Tiger Trot 5K will take place on Saturday, May 17 at Joker Marchant Stadium.  The race will begin at 8:00 am with registration and packet pickup beginning at 7:00 am.  Trophies will be awarded to the Overall Male/Female, Masters Male/Female as well as age group winners.  5K entry fee is $30 and includes race t-shirt (while supplies last) and a special dog tag.  The Tiger Trot benefits the Detroit Tigers Foundation of Florida and The Ledger’s Newspaper in Education Program.  To register please visit LakelandFlyingTigers.com or call 863-802-7112.


Kids Club Night Sponsored by Cobb Theatre
