-Celebrate the beloved Christmas tradition with the whole family as forty world-class Russian artists bring this charming classic to life.
Kids’ New Year’s Eve
Date: Wednesday, December 31
Venue: LEGOLAND FloridaResort, Winter Haven
– Kids’ New Year’s Eve is the perfect way to ring in the new year with the family where the giant LEGO brick drops at a very kid-friendly midnight KST (Kid Standard Time) – otherwise known as 6:00 p.m. EST.
– Other event elements include a spectacular fireworks show and a DJ dance party in Miniland USA.
Murder Mystery Dinner
Date: Wednesday, December 31
Venue: The Ramon Theater, Frostproof
- Join the cast on New Year’s Eve for an evening that includes mystery sleuthing, party favors, a complimentary sparkling beverage, dinner and a “Cast of Characters” from Murder Plays a Sour Note.
First Day Hike
Date: Thursday, January 1
Venue: Lake Kissimmee State Park, Lake Wales
– Start your new year off with a hike at Lake Kissimmee State Park where a park ranger will lead the way down the 2.5 mile trail and identify some of the flora and fauna.
Pickin’ in the Park
Date: Friday, January 2
Venue: Central Park, Winter Haven
– Join in a fun time of music in Central Park at this free community sing-along with music by local musicians held on the first Friday of each month.
Artisan’s Alley
Date: Saturday, January 3
Venue: Downtown Lakeland
– Every first Saturday of the month, artists can exhibit fine art such as paintings, sculpture, ceramics, mixed media and more at Artisan’s Alley.
Coffee with a Ranger
Date: Saturday, January 3
Venue: Lake Kissimmee State Park, Lake Wales
– Join a park ranger at the concession building that overlooks the beautiful marina for a fresh cup of free coffee the first Saturday of each month at 8:00 a.m. for a chance to meet a ranger and ask any questions you may have about the park or wildlife.
